* Note *
The DP IB Art Example site is to help the student:
- Create and organize a digital IB portfolio
- The student website gets dissected for their strongest components to submit to IB
- A student will create a separate page for every work of art containing both their artwork (the Exhibition) along with their process (the Process Portfolio)
- Under each of the tabs where a student would put art I have put instructions and tutorials for understanding and creating the required components in order to complete:
- the process portfolio
- the exhibition
- the comparative study
- the extended essay

Success Criteria for every single Studio Project and VAJ you do.... every single day.
Develop an online Journal that demonstrates personal inquiries: Research topics that are personal to you…research ideas and concepts in art that hold an interest for you…this is your work…make it about you
Be able to show (in your Studio ART and V.A.J.) your main idea: What are you trying to say with your artwork and does it connect to your Artist or Cultural influence…how does your ART connect to your V.A.J.
Explore and Decode Art Vocabulary and Art Concepts (in your V.A.J./P.P./C.S.) : Work smart not hard…Using the elements and principles along with the art vocabulary on the pillar helps make your writing precise and professional allowing you to say more on one page
Evaluate and Critique your process and Experimentation: Write (in your VAJ and PP) about the strength and limitations of your artwork…Analyze your work and that of others (Break down your work and your inspiration art/culture into its essential parts/idea) while Comparing and Contrasting your work against others.
IB will be looking for the following in your VAJ writings and experimentation/process/planning drawings
• the development of art-making skills and techniques
• experiments with media and technologies
• personal reflections
• their responses to first-hand observations
• creative ideas for exploration and development
• their evaluations of art practices and art-making experiences
• their responses to diverse stimuli and to artists and their works
• detailed evaluations and critical analysis
• records of valued feedback received
• challenges they have faced and their achievements.
