Zen Line Design
(MYP Criteria: Application, Personal Engagement)
Students will complete a 12" x 4.5" piece of artwork using Zen Line Design. This project builds on the skills studied in class as well as the skills students are practicing in their Process Journals. Students will be relying on line to create shapes, movement and balance in their compositions. .
Learning Intention:
I will create a sense of rhythm using varying line width, organic and geometric shapes. I will evaluate and critique my success.
Success Criteria
We know we are successful when:
•You must fill entire paper with quality Craftsmanship, drawing off page
•High Contrast, black areas are filled completely solid
•Used a variety of Line Width
•Used a variety of Line Shape: both organic and geometric.
•No symbols, recognizable shapes, names, or logos.
•No large white spaces
•Sharpie only, no pencil!
•No logos, letters or recognizable graphics
