Sacred Vessel
Students create a form out of clay with the concept of what is sacred and what is a vessel.
Students brainstorm the multiple meanings of what a sacred vessel could mean to them and/or to other cultures as well.
Students must search their understandings and feelings around the question: -What is the meaning of the word vessel and what it mean for something to be sacred.
Students must research multiple cultures and forms in order to present their ideas.
The process and reflection must be journalized in the IWB with evidence to support the students claim.
